The Benito Juárez Mayor's Office reports that through the Integral Risk Management and Civil Protection Directorate, it handled a report of an LP gas leak registered at Eje Vial 6 Sur (Holbein) number 203, in the Ciudad de los Deportes neighborhood. Upon arriving at the scene, elements of Blindar BJ 360° and Civil Protection, in coordination with the Heroic Fire Corps of Mexico City and personnel from the Mexico City Citizen Security Secretariat, located a 34-year-old man injured from a fall from a fourth floor, at an approximate height of between 12 and 15 meters. According to initial reports, the person was performing maneuvers related to a stationary LP gas tank (a pressure vessel with a capacity of 1,600 liters), when the accident occurred, resulting in injuries to the skull and left leg. Civil Protection paramedics provided immediate attention at the site, performing tasks to control the bleeding, and subsequently, the injured person was transferred to the Enrique Cabrera Hospital to receive medical care. Simultaneously, a leak was detected in the stationary tank, so joint maneuvers were implemented between Civil Protection personnel, Firefighters, and the specialized company CIGAS, managing to control the situation without any major risks to the population. The Benito Juárez Mayor's Office reiterates its commitment to the timely attention of emergencies and inter-institutional coordination to safeguard the integrity of citizens.
